Franklin Valve was originally formed as a repair center for double block and bleed plug valves, as well as four-way diverter valves for bi-directional meter proving. The demand grew steadily for these repaired units and eventually the demand outgrew the supply.
To accomodate customer requests, Franklin Valve made the decision to design and cast its own valve line and make it totally interchangeable with the proven design of the General Twin Seal® "800" Series Valve; with a few improvements in the trim design.

Today, Franklin Valve manufactures the DURASEAL, non-lubricated, double block and bleed plug valve as well as offering quality remanufactured valves for this same service.
